Where we come from
Play to Connect, founded by National Teaching Fellow and accredited LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator Julia Reeve, is built on Julia's decades of experience as a creative and empathetic educator within Further Education, Higher Education and Criminal Justice settings.
We specialise in playful, multisensory workshops and talks which reflect Julia's passion for inclusion and mental wellbeing.
Julia's background in fashion design informs her creative workshops, which combines a constructionist ‘Thinking with the hands’ approach with a compassionate philosophy.
Play to Connect embodies Julia's interest in the development of self-awareness and empathy, supporting social connection and wellbeing through playfulness and creativity.
Julia's publications and blog posts are available here.

Playful workshops to build connection, compassion and confidence
"“The training provided my team with valuable tools and skills to guide their young people through reflective and aspirational conversations about their life. They use the LEGO strategies in their targeted interventions, and their young people love it!”
